On 29 October 2024, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) hosted a gathering for its collaborative programme with Lingnan University (LU). A group of 40 students and faculty members from LU, representing the Doctor of Policy Studies (Education Policy and Management), Master of Arts in International Higher Education and Management (Managing Education Change in International Context), and Master of Social Sciences in Comparative Public Administration (Digital and Smart Governance) programmes, visited HSUHK for an engaging event with the Programme Director and HSUHK course instructors.
Professor MOK Ka-ho, Provost and Vice President (Academic & Research) cum Dean of Graduate School at HSUHK, warmly welcomed the LU students and faculty members. In his speech, Prof. Mok emphasized the importance of postgraduate students as vital members of the research community, highlighting their role in shaping Hong Kong's development as an international higher education innovation hub. Following the discussions, HSUHK faculty members led the LU students and staff on a tour of the library, where library staff provided an introduction to its unique features and resources.
This gathering not only strengthened the understanding and collaboration between HSUHK and LU but also laid a solid foundation for future academic exchanges.
