On 8 October 2024, Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) organised a visit to the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) headquarters in North Point, Hong Kong for 39 postgraduate students studying in the collaborative programmes co-organised by Lingnan University and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong: the Doctor of Policy Studies (Education Policy and Management) and the Master of Social Science in Comparative Public Administration (Digital and Smart Governance).
The visit provided students with an in-depth understanding of the ICAC's operations, strategies, and history, including the development of the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption.
Students actively participated throughout the visit, demonstrating a keen interest in the ICAC's international anti-corruption efforts. Students enjoyed the experience and benefited greatly from the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the ICAC's vital work.
This visit clearly shows The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong cares for student learning. Through active participation in the visit and experiential learning, students are able to learn to care for the wider society.
