On July 6, Professor Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Dean of the Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) delivered an insightful presentation at an invited talk hosted by the University of Bristol at City University of Hong Kong. This event marked a significant occasion for academic exchange and collaboration between the institutions.

Professor Mok's talk, titled "China's Three-pronged Approach to Managing the New Geo-politics in International Higher Education," offered valuable insights into China's strategies for navigating the complexities of the global educational landscape amid shifting geopolitical dynamics. The presentation was met with an enthusiastic reception and prompted engaging discussions among the attendees.

Following the thought-provoking talk, participants enjoyed a warm lunch, which served as an excellent opportunity for networking and further dialogue. This informal setting fostered meaningful exchanges and laid the groundwork for future collaborations.

A highlight of the event was the formation of a new partnership between the Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and the Graduate School of Education of the University of Bristol, UK. Scheduled to commence in 2024, this collaboration aims to enhance the educational experiences of doctoral and postgraduate students through joint research symposium / workshop with focus on research methodology in education. Postgraduate students of Bristol and HSUHK will benefit from the forthcoming research activities co-organized by Bristol and Hang Seng.
