Professor Joshua Mok Presents at the Peking University–University of Wisconsin Higher Education Forum

Professor Joshua Mok was invited by Peking University and the University of Wisconsin to present a paper titled "Fragmented Globalisation and International Education Collaboration: Critical Reflections on China's Responses" at the 6th Peking University–University of Wisconsin Higher Education Forum, held under the theme "Mobility and Cooperation Amidst Geopolitical Dynamics."

In his presentation, Professor Mok explored how China has adopted a three-pronged approach to promoting international education. His insights sparked engaging discussions, with the paper being well received by the forum's participants. The event brought together distinguished speakers from the USA, the United Kingdom, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Vienna, and Canada, fostering a rich exchange of ideas on higher education in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Before the Education Forum was launched, Professor Joshua Mok, together with other overseas higher education experts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Duke University in the USA, the University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong, met the senior leaders of Peking University. Deputy Secretary of Peking University hosted a meeting with the above leading higher education experts to share their experience in advancing educational research and teaching.
