Professor Mok Ka-ho, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, was invited by Proactive Think Tank Limited to share his expertise in public policy research at the "Tomorrow's Rising Stars" Policy Proposal Workshop（「明日新星」政策提案工作坊）. The workshop focused on equipping young professionals with the skills to craft impactful public policy research project proposals.
With the theme of positioning Hong Kong as a leading international education hub, Professor Mok presented a comprehensive study that employed multiple research methods to examine the experiences of other global higher education hubs. He emphasised, "Policy research must be grounded in real-world needs, combining a holistic vision with a focus on specific issues to ensure that research outcomes truly contribute to policy enhancement and talent development."
The talk was highly praised by attendees, sparking engaging discussions among young professionals passionate about policy research. As a gesture of gratitude for Professor Mok's insightful guidance, Proactive Think Tank Limited presented him with a certificate of appreciation at the conclusion of the event.
