Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong was invited by the University of Liverpool for a visit to discuss future collaboration from 8 to 9 September 2025.
During his visit, Professor Mok had the opportunity to meet with Professor Damien, the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as Dr Obert Hodzi, senior lecturer of the Department of Politics. The visit was productive, showing strong interest in collaboration in cohosting summer school, developing student and faculty exchange. Colleagues from University of Liverpool are keen to establish research partnerships with HSUHK and promote international classrooms through online platform to enhance student learning. With mutual enthusiasm and a commitment to fostering innovation in education and research, the visit signaled the beginning of what is anticipated to be a fruitful and enduring partnership between the two universities.
