After completing their one-year postgraduate programme, postgraduate students typically face geographical choices. Many choose to seek employment and career opportunities in Hong Kong. During their studies, students face numerous challenges, including language and cultural differences, and academic challenges.
In recognition of this, Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and the Baptist Shatin Education Centre have collaborated to provide postgraduate mainland students with career talks series and workplace Cantonese course. This service aims to help them receive appropriate care during their studies in Hong Kong and prepare them for career development after graduation.
Career development Programme for Mainland Postgraduate Students – “Career Talks Series”
Invite experts in insurance, healthcare finance, business strategy, and academia to share their experiences and help you prepare for your career.

Career development Programme for Mainland Postgraduate Students – “Workplace Cantonese Course”
Enhance your Cantonese language skills in the workplace through practical courses and gain an understanding of Hong Kong's business environment and culture.
- Dates: 24, 31 October ; 7, 14, 21 November 2025 (Friday)
- Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

- Quota: 30 students
- Fee: $100
