The Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) is proud to announce a landmark collaboration with Hertford College, University of Oxford, marking the launch of the Postgraduate Summer School in 2026. This initiative represents the first year of a strategic partnership designed to offer postgraduate students an unparalleled academic and cultural immersion in the United Kingdom.
To officially kick off the programme, Professor Mok Ka-ho, Provost and Vice-President (Academic & Research) of HSUHK, met with Ms Caroline Rice and Mr Andrew Hemingway from the International Programmes Department of Hertford College from University of Oxford on 20 November 2025 at HSUHK. The meeting served as a productive dialogue to finalise the curriculum and logistical framework, laying a strong foundation for the upcoming summer programme.
"Our mission is to nurture students with a profound sense of global engagement," said Professor Mok. "By bringing our students from a local context to a global stage like Oxford, we are empowering them to broaden their horizons, deepen their academic rigour, and develop the cross-cultural competencies required in today's interconnected world."
Participants will reside at Hertford College, engaging in intensive academic seminars while experiencing the rich history and culture of Oxford. This programme underscores the Graduate School’s commitment to internationalisation and holistic student development.
