Jessie and Lily designed a six-class course, "Master Cantonese in 20 Days" (25 Feb – 11 Mar), to help students overcome language barriers. The classes cover daily topics such as transport, dining, shopping, housing, healthcare, and local customs. Through practical exercises, cultural sharing, and songs, students quickly learn the language and adapt to Hong Kong's culture, actively engaging in both language and daily life.
The lessons are designed to build confidence in speaking and listening, with many opportunities for real-life practice. By focusing on communication skills needed in typical scenarios, the course empowers learners to navigate their new environment more independently. Jessie and Lily also offer ongoing support and feedback, making sure every student feels encouraged throughout their learning journey.

The first session featured a vibrant atmosphere as instructors led with practical real-life scenarios. Students began by practising basic daily greetings before progressing to authentic local dialogues, including ordering at a Cha Chaan Teng (tea restaurant) and navigating public transport. Regardless of their proficiency levels, students participated enthusiastically and spoke up confidently.
Volunteer instructor encourages students to practise regularly and speak confidently, stressing that having the courage to speak is essential for language learning. They noted that perfection is not the immediate goal, as every attempt marks a step toward progress.
