The Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) is offering the Mental Health First Aid Certificate Course (Youth Version) under the HIGH Programme. Delivered by an accredited professional, the course is designed for non-professionals and provides practical guidance on recognising common emotional and mental health concerns, assessing situations, offering appropriate support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties or crises, and referring those in need to suitable professional services.
Event Highlights:
✅ Recognise Common Mental Health Concerns: Learn to identify common emotional and mental health conditions and develop a better understanding of the mental health needs of young people.
✅ Develop Practical Helping Skills: Learn how to assess situations, provide appropriate support and apply effective intervention approaches when assisting someone experiencing mental health difficulties.
✅ Receive a Certificate upon Completion: Participants who fulfil the course requirements and complete the relevant assessment will be eligible to receive a recognised Mental Health First Aid Certificate.

Notes for Reservation:
- This event is currently open for reservations. Applicants who successfully pay the HK$50 deposit will have a seat reserved. The remaining balance of HK$250 will be payable upon confirmation of the event details.
- If the confirmed event schedule conflicts with the applicant's official class timetable, the applicant may apply to the Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong for a refund of the reservation deposit. No refund of the reservation deposit will be granted for any other reasons.
Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will only be confirmed upon successful payment. Except for the reservation deposit refund arrangement stated above, all fees paid are non-refundable. The Graduate School of HSUHK reserves the right of final interpretation regarding the event details and arrangements.
