Age-friendly City – Impact Case Seminar and Workshop

Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and Consortium of Social Change, Well-being and Social Policy Studies are co-organising a Impact Case Seminar and Workshops regarding to Age-friendly City, with The School of Graduate Studies at Lingnan University as host. A series of seminar and workshop are designed to foster inclusive and supportive urban environments for individuals of all ages to promote healthy aging. To share knowledge and best practices from Hong Kong with other regions, workshops is hosted for NGOs, academics, policymakers, and other stakeholders interested in creating inclusive and supportive cities, particularly for older adults.

The event aims to introduce the concept of age-friendly cities, discuss their importance, and explore collaborative efforts to make urban spaces more welcoming and supportive for the elderly. The goal is to empower participants, including NGO staff, social workers, and private organizations, to promote healthy aging in their local communities through capacity building activities. The workshop will enhance participants' knowledge and skills in promoting healthy aging using a bottom-up, community-based approach.
