Hong Kong Cultural Experience Tour – Visit to Tai O Fishing Village

Tai O is located on Lantau Island and is renowned for its stilt houses, fishing culture, and scenic waterways. Through on-site visits and interactive workshops, postgraduate students are guided into the Tai O fishing village to experience Hong Kong's unique fishing traditions and coastal heritage up close. This activity fosters a connection between students and the local community, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong's cultural context.

Hong Kong Cultural Experience Tour — Tai O Fishing Village Experience

  • Date: 8 November 2025 (Saturday)
  • Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Location: Tai O (Depart and dismiss at HSUHK)
  • Eligibility: Postgraduate students
  • Quota: 20 students
  • Fee: HK$200
    (Graduate School has subsidized part of the expenses, which include round-trip transportation and lunch costs.)
  • Deadline for registration: 17 October 2025 (12:00 noon)

*The Tea Guo Making Workshop will involve peanuts or legumes. Individuals with allergies should take note.

  • Successful applicants should follow the instructions in the email to complete the payment.
