The Graduate School (GS) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), in collaboration with the University of Manchester, is pleased to co-organise the HSUHK – Manchester Roundtable Discussion on 5 March 2026 (Wednesday). This initiative is supported by the Asia Pacific Higher Education Research Partnership (APHERP) and the Chief Executive Policy Unit (CEPU), HKSAR Government, titled “The Quest for Education Hub in Asia: Comparative Perspectives and Policy Learning.”
This roundtable will bring together postgraduate students and scholars from Hong Kong and the United Kingdom to engage in in-depth discussions on issues concerning international student mobility, the growth of transnational higher education, and the management challenges faced by higher education institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
The event aims to foster comparative dialogue and collaborative learning among participants, providing a platform for sharing policy experiences, institutional strategies, and research insights related to the development of education hubs across Asia. Through these exchanges, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of regional trends and innovative approaches shaping the future of higher education in a global context.
