On June 6, 2024, Professor Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Provost and Vice President (Academic and Research) at HSUHK, actively participated in the prestigious 10th Higher Education Research Association (HERA) Conference held at National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taiwan. During the conference, Prof. Mok delivered an insightful talk, joined an engaging panel discussion, and chaired another panel session.
The HERA conference attracted a diverse group of participants, with around 200 scholars from 25 countries and regions attending the event. Nearly 150 foreign scholars traveled to Taiwan to attend the conference in person. These scholars represented prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford, University of Tokyo, Tohoku University, Hiroshima University, Osaka University, Seoul National University, University of Hong Kong, University of British Columbia, and University of Sydney. Participants engaged in academic exchanges through oral presentations, poster presentations, and symposia, contributing to a rich and diverse dialogue.
Prof. Mok's participation highlighted HSUHK's commitment to fostering international collaboration and promoting academic excellence. By interacting with friends and colleagues from Hong Kong and across the globe, HSUHK's global connections and international presence have been further enhanced and strengthened.
