Professor Mok's Invited Talk at the Chief Executive's Policy Unit

Professor Mok Ka-ho, Joshua, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) and Dean of the Graduate School at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), was invited by the Chief Executive's Policy Unit (CEPU) to share insights from his recent research project on international higher education. The Hong Kong SAR Government aspires to become a leading hub for attracting and retaining talents to study and work in Hong Kong and the region. Funded by the CEPU, the project examines international and non-local students who plan to pursue PhD programmes in Hong Kong, with a particular focus on the factors influencing their decisions and the policy support needed to encourage them to stay in Hong Kong for work and long-term development.

During the seminar, Professor Mok engaged in productive discussions with representatives from local policy think tanks, higher education institutions, and policy communities on issues related to establishing Hong Kong as a leading higher education hub. These dialogues contribute to advancing public policy research in and for Hong Kong, an initiative that HSUHK actively promotes.
