HSUHK concludes successful five-city admissions roadshow at 2026 CIEET

The Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), in collaboration with various academic schools and programmes, has successfully concluded its participation in the 2026 China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET). The event attracted a large number of students and parents for face-to-face engagement.

A Multi-City Presence with Profound Impact

As one of the most influential international education events, CIEET 2026 brought together renowned institutions from around the world. HSUHK participated in exhibitions and campus activities across five cites in Chinese Mainland: Beijing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, and Shanghai, engaging with students, parents, and education professionals. The tour provided an excellent platform to showcase the University's distinctive "Liberal + Professional" education model and the latest academic developments.

The event attracts a large number of students and parents for face-to-face engagement.

Engaging Seminars and Personalised Consultations

Throughout the tour, thematic seminars were held in Beijing, Chengdu, and Wuhan, offering in-depth insights into HSUHK's programme structure, admission policies, and vibrant campus life. Topics ranged from the role of humanities and social sciences in shaping the future, to nurturing media leaders in the age of artificial intelligence, future-oriented business education, and creative journeys in the arts and humanities. The specific seminars and speakers included:

  • Humanities and Social Sciences: Bridging Past and Present, Shaping the FutureDr Ivan Chen, Associate Head and Associate Professor of Department of Chinese
  • Navigating the AI Tide: Cultivating Globally-Minded Media Leaders of TomorrowDr Sobel Chan, Senior Lecturer of School of Communication
  • Future-Focused Business Education: Shaping Global-Ready Business Leaders Professor Victor Lau, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Programmes) of School of Business
  • Studying Humanities, Charting Your Future: Embarking on a Journey of Profession and Creativity at SHSS Dr Alex Liu, Assistant Professor of Department of Art and Design

These sessions were well received by attendees, who also benefited from dedicated face-to-face consultations at the University's exhibition booths. Faculty members and professional staff provided personalised academic advice and application guidance.

Bringing the University to Campuses

In addition to the main exhibition venues, HSUHK joined the "Exhibition on Campus" initiative in Zhengzhou and Shanghai. This brought one-on-one consultations to students at Zhengzhou University, Henan University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. These activities facilitated deeper engagement with prospective students in their own academic environments and fostered closer connections with partner institutions.

HSUHK joins the "Exhibition on Campus" initiative in Zhengzhou and Shanghai.

The successful conclusion of this five‑city tour reinforces HSUHK's commitment to strengthening ties with Chinese Mainland students and institutions. The University looks forward to welcoming prospective students to its vibrant, globally‑focused campus.
