HIGH Programme

Students' Voice

Big thanks to HIGH Programme organised by Graduate School at HUSHK, for providing a wonderful series of activities, including the Mid-Autumn Festival, Cantonese classes, hiking groups, and community visits to elderly homes. All these experiences have greatly helped me adapt to life in Hong Kong, understand the local culture, and integrate into the community. Through these activities, I have had the opportunity to meet people from various fields, which not only broadened my network but also enriched my career-related knowledge. This has been invaluable for my career planning.

I'm thrilled to have joined the Postgraduate Summer School for the first time. The workshop provided numerous opportunities for interaction, which I found very engaging. The speakers were instrumental in helping me develop critical thinking skills and expand my knowledge of social management, which will be invaluable in my future research endeavors. LIANG Ting Hui

Postgraduate Summer School 2024
30 June – 13 July 2024

What surprised me most was the variety and quality of the activities hosted by the HIGH Programme at the Graduate School of HUSHK. There are numerous opportunities for non-local students to engage and gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong's culture. I participated in the Elderly Visiting Activities twice, and each time I was profoundly touched. While I thought I was there to care for the elderly, I found myself deeply inspired by their positivity and resilience. I truly learned a lot from them. Through these experiences, I came to fully appreciate the motto: 'Care for Learning, Learning to Care.
